JPMC Employee Experience

MOBILE APP DESIGN

Overview

When JP Morgan Chase opened its new flagship office at 470 Park Avenue in New York City, the company needed a mobile app that would seamlessly support employees in their day-to-day work. The challenge was to design an integrated employee experience platform that connected physical and digital touchpoints — from navigating the building to booking spaces and accessing on-site amenities.

Objective

  • Create a centralized app to improve employee productivity and well-being in a large-scale workplace.

  • Map and design digital touchpoints for key employee needs: wayfinding, room booking, food and beverage, and wellness services.

  • Ensure a consistent, cohesive design system that scaled across multiple user flows.

  • Align with diverse business requirements from facilities, HR, and employee services teams.

My Role

As the lead Experience Designer, I:

  • Conducted stakeholder workshops to identify business needs and prioritize features.

  • Created a detailed employee journey map to identify “moments that matter” where the app could add value.

  • Designed sketches, wireframes, and prototypes for core user flows

  • Partnered with visual design to ensure UX requirements translated seamlessly into UI.

  • Developed a design system that unified interaction patterns and UI components across all flows.
